“Set design by Leah Downey was crucial to the play’s success. The only furniture was an elegant desk and two chairs, leaving the stage uncluttered. In combination with Craig Pearcey’s excellent lighting design, the filmy translucent grey drapes surrounding the stage area had a rather ghostly presence and, more importantly, provided easy access for actors to enter or exit the stage from different angles in quick, completely seamless scene changes."
