“The leaf-strewn set established the scene with a cleverly realised suburban back yard bordered with climbing roses and including the suggestion of a house with screen door and shuttered windows on one side and a fence connected to the neighbouring yard on the other. Centre stage was cluttered with a sparse rusty wrought iron seat with a wooden rocking chair among other paraphernalia. The effect looked comfortably lived in and of the period."
